8 month update- read from bottom to top
So there's the past 8 months in a nutshell. Please keep in mind that the entire time all these other things were going on in our lives, we were looking at houses, making offers and packing to move. We even had an offer excepted and waited several months for it to close but the seller backed out last minute and when I say last minute I mean the day before we were supposed to be out of our other house. So needless to say, we didn't have time to buy and had to sign another lease. We couldn't have asked for a better place to live though. It felt like home from the moment we opened the front door. Oh and did I mention we are super duper short handed at work. There were certainly days that were unbearable. but now I'm back in the swing of things and getting our lives back in order just in time to have another first for our family this year. High school! Yikes. I'll Keep you posted.

The boys are supposed to keep their face painted until they do a good deed. That didn't happen. we're in the car for 5 minutes on the way home and he somehow manages to plant his face directly on the back seat. We had an exact copy. How did he do that? He was buckled and everything? Boys will be boys I guess.

The other big event this month was Brandon progressing to Wolf in the cub scouts. Yeah Buddy!
Ashlee swears to me they did this for "Big Hair Day". She's cute no matter what.

Monika went to girls camp for the first time. Unfortunatley her sister failed to take any pictures of her and all of Moni's picture are still on film. she didn't have a digital camera. I know gasp now. The Selby's still have A camera that takes 35mm film. who would of thought. Brian doesn't know about it or it would be in the trash.

July-a few other things happened that were firsts in our family.

June- Ahh June. Yet another month of caos for the Selby family. We moved and took our first ever family vaction. Just the five of us. It was wonderful but we threw it in the middle of our move. Yes that's right folks we've moved yet again. We figured it out and Ashlee has moved 13 times in thirteen years. Does that make us nomads? oh well, here's some photos of our vaction and new home.

The very next weekend we packed up and drove to Flaggstaff for the other reception and Eric's High school graduation. He left for his mission just a few weeks after Jessica's wedding. This was the first time in nine years that my imediate family was together. Mom was excited to get a picture with all four of her children.
Oh and did I mention, two weeks before Jessica's wedding a friend of mine was getting married and I helped her with some of the things for her wedding.

I made all the flower arrangements for Jessica's wedding. 1 brides bouquet, 1 tosser bouquet,3 brides made bouquets, 9 boutiniers, 4 corsages, the wedding cake flowers, 1 arch and other various things around the room. I even transported Brian's sound system, much to his dismay, and did the music. Set up took all of one day and was taken down the next in about an hour. Monika, Grandma and I took off after Moni's youth activity Wednesday night. Stayed at my co workers retirement home in Cedar City (3 hours away), got up at the crack of dawn or before and drove the rest of the way to West Jordan. We got right to work, collapsed at the end of the day, got up early to drive to SaltLake for the Wedding Friday morning, drove back to West Jordan, had the reception, took it down, then drove back to Cedar City, slept a few hours and then came home Saturday morning. It was a whirl wind of an adventure.
Yet another first for Ashlee. A semi formal 8th grade dance. It was the same weekend and my neices wedding, she had been planning for months it was also her best friend Jennika's birthday weekend, so needless to say, she stayed home with Brian and Brandon and Monika and I left for the wedding. Isn't she beautiful?
Monika turned twelve so a first for her, she got to go to Young Womens. You can't really tell by the picture but the two candles you see are actually emergency candles. I couldn't find the birthday ones. As you can see she loved it.
This picture is just because he's so cute!
Ashlee had another first, I let her take a day off school to go to Magic Mountain for a friend's birthday. two days later she left for her next trip.
Ashlee took her first trip with the Young Women group. They stayed in Park City UT and attended the Young Womens Conference.
Ashlee and Monika had their first track meet. They both placed and went to finals two weeks later. Ashlee is holding up to fingers for second place. Yeah! go girls.
March, April and May- they all sort of blended together for me because it was such a busy time. Here are the things that stand out the most.
